Golang Job: Development Specialist

The Role and Responsibilities:

Kyndryl Netherlands has exciting opportunities for enthusiastic IT professionals to work on a ground-breaking IT program to provide a completely renewed IT infrastructure.

Kyndryl will develop and realize a reliable, secure, future-proof, and flexible IT infrastructure and services for the next ten years. We’re hiring for a variety of skill sets from systems administrators to network specialists, Infrastructure architects and cloud specialists.

As a Developer you are responsible for the execution of the project work at our client. You dive into complex architecture and security issues on a daily basis.

You translate the chosen strategy on the basis of the latest developments within your knowledge area into concrete solution building blocks and work on both the configuration and implementation side.

As a Developer, you will proactively work on completing your work based on your knowledge and personal attitude.

This varies from translating the design into a realization and setting up the associated roll-out instructions.

In addition, you are a source of information for third-line questions: when it comes to knowledge, you are 'the person to go to'.

You come up with tactical solutions for the customer and design them through and through. Think of issues about links, migrations, security and determining required performance. In short, a varied job with a lot of independence!

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
• Usage of REST APIs for automation purposes
• Experienced with operation of Windows/Linux (at least basic) and/or system management / automation applications and general understanding of IT-infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of the agile development methodologies
• Ability to learn new technologies (Ansible Tower)
• Ability to drive and take responsibility for solutions
• Knowledge ServiceNow or Servicemanagement Tool
• You are familiar with one or more technologies listed below and willing to learn / develop your skills

o Cisco ACI-omgeving

o Nexus 9000 series

o Cisco Apic

o VX LAN

o Juniper switches

Dutch passport / VOG screening will be required

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience with the project management methodologies PRINCE2 and Agile
• Able to learn new programming languages and techniques quickly
• Able to design and write a solution (program)

You are familiar with the technologies listed below and know how to apply them daily in your work, certification is an advantage:
